Aberdeen Shipwreck 1916

Ocean Beach near foot of Kirkham. On January 23, 1916, rough seas near the Golden Gate capsized the steam schooner Aberdeen on its way back from dumping garbage near the Farallones. Broken pieces washed up on Ocean Beach in the next few days following.
