Golden Gate Park Sep 4, 1908

Statue of Goethe & Schiller. Two horse drawn buggies with couples & a lady passenger. Music Concourse. It was installed with donations from the German community on the west side of the Music Concourse, (current site of the De Young Museum Sculpture Garden) on August 11, 1901. It would be moved to the current east side of the Concourse in the early 1920s. [GGP-20] (G810 GGP-020) (GGNRA/Behrman GOGA 35346)
